Understanding the Permission Matrix
The Permission Matrix is the role-based access control system for your team. It lets you define exactly what each team member can see and do within the partner dashboard, ensuring sensitive data and critical actions are only accessible to the right people.
What is a permission matrix?
A permission matrix maps roles to capabilities. When you assign a role to a team member, they automatically get the set of permissions associated with that role — no need to configure access for each person individually.
Viewing your permission matrix
Go to Teams in the left sidebar.
Click on a team to open its detail page.
The Permission Matrix shows which roles have access to which features and actions.
Creating a permission matrix
From the Team Detail page, click Create Matrix or Manage Permissions.
In the matrix editor, define your roles (e.g. Admin, Manager, Viewer).
For each role, toggle on or off the permissions that apply:
Events — View, create, edit, delete events.
Finance — View revenue, manage payouts, export data.
Marketplace — Create listings, approve Promoters.
Team — Invite members, manage roles.
Vibe Zones — Create and manage Vibe Zones.
Save the matrix. These settings apply immediately to all members with that role.
Best practices
Use a Viewer role for read-only access — useful for stakeholders who need visibility but shouldn't make changes.
Restrict Finance permissions to trusted team members only.
Review your permission matrix regularly as your team grows or changes.
