How to connect your Stripe payout account to receive revenue and commissions from FirstMove.

Setting up your payout account

To receive payments — whether you're an Organiser collecting ticket revenue or a Promoter collecting commissions — you need to connect a payout account. FirstMove uses Stripe Connect to process all payouts securely.

Before you begin

  • You'll need a valid bank account to link to Stripe.

  • You'll need to provide basic identity and business verification information as required by Stripe.

  • This process typically takes 5–10 minutes.

Connecting your payout account

  1. From the left sidebar, click Finance.

  2. On the Finance page, locate the Payout Account card.

  3. Click Set Up Payout Account.

  4. You'll be redirected to Stripe's secure onboarding flow.

  5. Follow Stripe's prompts to:

    • Provide your business or personal details.

    • Verify your identity.

    • Connect your bank account.

  6. Once complete, you'll be redirected back to your FirstMove Finance dashboard.

Viewing your payout account details

After connecting, the Payout Account card on your Finance page will show your account status and key details. Click Manage Account to log in to Stripe directly and update your banking details if needed.

Payout account status

  • Connected — Your account is active and ready to receive payouts.

  • Pending verification — Stripe requires additional documents. Check your email for instructions.

  • Restricted — Payouts are on hold. Log in to Stripe to resolve any issues.

Note: Payouts cannot be processed until your Stripe account is fully verified and in a Connected state.
