How the Marketplace works
The FirstMove Marketplace is where Organisers and Promoters connect. Organisers list their events, and Promoters apply to promote them — creating a mutually beneficial ecosystem built around live events.
For Organisers
As an Organiser, you create listings for events you want help promoting. Each listing includes your event details, promotion terms, and any assets you're providing to Promoters. Once listed, Promoters can discover your event and apply to promote it. You review each application and approve the Promoters you want to work with.
For Promoters
As a Promoter, you browse available listings and apply to the events that match your audience. Once an Organiser approves you, you gain access to the event's promotion assets and can start driving ticket sales. You earn commission on each booking that comes through your promotion.
The Marketplace tabs
The Marketplace section has two main views:
Browse — Discover all available event listings. Filter by city, date, or category to find the right opportunities.
My Promotions — (Promoters) A table of all promotions you have applied for or are actively running.
My Listings — (Organisers) A table of all event listings you have created for the Marketplace.
The application process
A Promoter finds a listing and clicks Apply to Promote.
The Organiser reviews the application and approves or declines.
If approved, the Promoter gains access to promotion assets and can begin their campaign.
Bookings driven by the Promoter are tracked automatically, and earnings are credited accordingly.
