How to complete your Promoter onboarding
The Promoter onboarding flow collects the information Organisers need to evaluate your applications. A complete, accurate profile significantly increases your chances of being approved to promote events.
Starting the onboarding flow
After creating your account and selecting the Promoter role, you will be directed to the onboarding flow automatically. If you need to return to it, look for the onboarding prompt on your dashboard or in your profile settings.
What you'll be asked to provide
Personal details
Your full name and display name
Contact email and phone number
A short bio describing who you are and your promotional style
Audience & channels
Your estimated audience or follower count
The platforms and channels you use (social media, email lists, etc.)
Your typical content type and engagement rates if available
Location preferences
The cities or regions you operate in
How far you're willing to travel or promote geographically
Review & submit
A summary of all your information before final submission
After submitting
Your profile will be reviewed by the FirstMove team. Once approved, you'll receive an email confirmation and gain full access to the Marketplace to start browsing and applying for events.
Updating your Promoter profile
After onboarding, you can update your profile details at any time from the Profile section in the left sidebar.
