How to create and manage events

Events are the core of your Organiser experience on FirstMove. This guide walks you through creating a new event, editing it, and keeping it up to date.

Creating an event

  1. From the left sidebar, click Events.

  2. Click the Create Event button in the top-right corner.

  3. Fill in the event details:

    • Name — The public-facing event title.

    • Date & time — Start and end times for the event.

    • Location — The venue address or city.

    • Description — A summary of what attendees can expect.

  4. Click Save to create the event. It will appear in your Events list.

Editing an event

  1. From the Events list, click on the event you want to edit.

  2. Click the Edit button to open the edit modal.

  3. Update any fields and click Save Changes.

Viewing event details

Clicking into an event takes you to the Event Detail page, where you can:

  • View performance KPIs (bookings, revenue, attendees)

  • Manage ticket types

  • View the attendees list

  • See booking analytics and funnel data

Event status

Each event displays a status badge indicating whether it is Active, Draft, or Ended. Only active events are visible to FirstMove users in the app.

Deleting an event

To remove an event, open the event detail page and look for the delete option. Note that deleting an event will remove all associated bookings and Vibe Zone data — this action cannot be undone.
