Getting started as an Organiser

Once your Organiser account is approved, your dashboard gives you everything you need to run events and manage your presence on FirstMove. Here's how to get up and running quickly.

1. Create your first event

Head to the Events section in the left sidebar and click Create Event. You'll be prompted to add your event name, date, location, and description. Once saved, you can add ticket types and set up your Vibe Zones.

2. Set up ticket types

Within your event, navigate to the Tickets tab to define the ticket categories available for your event (e.g. General Admission, VIP). Each ticket type has its own price and availability.

3. Create a Vibe Zone

Go to the Vibe Zones section to create a location-based zone for your venue. Vibe Zones are what FirstMove users join when they arrive at your event — they're the heartbeat of the in-person experience.

4. List your event on the Marketplace

To attract Promoters, create a listing for your event in the Marketplace. This makes your event visible to Promoters who can apply to help drive ticket sales.

5. Set up your payout account

Before you can receive revenue, connect your payout account in the Finance section. This uses Stripe Connect and only takes a few minutes to set up.

6. Monitor your dashboard

The main Dashboard gives you a real-time overview of bookings, revenue, and engagement. Check it regularly to stay on top of your event performance.
